2013/14 season Match Previews — 17 April 2012
Stocksbridge Park Steels v Nantwich Town

Tuesday 17th March KO 7.45pm

The Dabbers travel to Sheffield this evening (Tuesday) to play their rearrange Evo-Stik Premier Division game against Stocksbridge Park Steels at the Look Stadium.

Jimmy Quinn’s men will be looking to build on their current run of form which has seen them lose just once in their last seven games, so that they can finish the season as high as possible and in confidence before their season finale in the Cheshire Senior Cup Final. Stocksbridge meanwhile will be desperate for the points that will ensure that they aren’t suffering any last day nerves, looking over their shoulder for other results to preserve their Evo-Stik Premier Division Status.

The Dabbers will have almost a full squad to choose from as only Mat Bailey (Groin) isn’t quite fit, though Michael Lennon will return after illness forced him out of Saturdays win over Chorley. “It’s another tough game said Dabbers boss Quinn as we know they are in need of points to ensure that they are safe in the league, but the lads are full of confidence, on a good run and playing some decent Football and we want to keep this going into the last two games and to the Cup Final next week”.
